Apple’s standard 11-inch iPad (A16) has an A16 chip, storage starting at 128GB and an all-screen design with Touch ID in the top button. The 10.9-inch 10th-generation iPad also has top-button Touch ID; it uses A14 Bionic and starts at 64GB. Both displays measure 10.86 inches diagonally as a rectangle, with 2360 × 1640 resolution and 500-nit brightness. The older 10.2-inch 9th-generation iPad has the front Home button. Square supports both the A16 and 10th-generation models; this comparison uses the same A16 model rather than assuming a competitor supplies an older iPad. Email receipt delivery has no extra Taply charge. The Twilio SMS add-on is $15 per month per location, plus message usage. Sender setup and activation are required. A customized restaurant ordering website is a separate add-on with a custom quote.
Taply Floor is free to download for iPhone and Android. Using it with your restaurant requires an Ultra or Enterprise plan and available device slots. With compatible phones you already own, there is no new handheld hardware to buy. Payment processing and any accessories are separate.
