Is TaplyPOS really free?
Yes. The Free plan includes the full POS system — ordering, KDS, floor plan, payments, analytics, CRM, and more. No credit card required, no time limit.
Do I need a special iPad or can I use my own?
Use your own iPad (iOS 16+). No hardware leases, no proprietary devices. Any modern iPad or iPhone you already own will work.
Does it work without internet?
Absolutely. Offline-first is our core design principle. All essential POS functions — orders, payments (cash), kitchen display, floor plan — work without any internet connection.
What payment processors do you support?
Stripe Terminal (card reader + Tap to Pay on iPhone). Square integration is coming soon.
How does multi-device sync work?
We use Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework — peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth between your iPad and iPhones. No server, no internet, no latency. This will be part of the Pro plan.
What about delivery platform integrations?
We're building integrations with UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and other major platforms. These will be available in an upcoming release.
