Built in a Restaurant Kitchen

TaplyPOS started because existing POS systems were too expensive, too cloud-dependent, and too rigid. We built what restaurants actually needed.

Nashville, Tennessee

It Started with Spice Garden

In 2023, we were building a POS system for Spice Garden, an authentic Indian restaurant in Nashville. Their existing system cost over $300/month, required constant internet, and crashed during busy weekend rushes.

We built TaplyPOS to solve exactly that. Offline-first — because restaurant Wi-Fi is unreliable. Start free — because restaurant margins are tight. iPad + iPhone — because every restaurant already has Apple devices.

What started as a single-restaurant solution quickly became something bigger: a restaurant platform with POS, Floor, KDS, payments, tax tools, and owner visibility. TaplyPOS is built by 2D Data Solutions, Inc., a US-incorporated software company focused on building practical tools for small businesses.
