Check my equipment

Hardware questions, answered.

What hardware do I need for Taply Restaurant?
Start with a compatible landscape iPad, a counter stand, a supported receipt printer and a card reader. The POS essentials kit includes these for $595 once. A customer display and dedicated kitchen screen are optional. Software, processing, tax and shipping are separate.
Can I use my existing iPad or printer?
Bring the model numbers, operating-system versions and printer connection details to the team before purchasing equipment. The $295 Bring your iPad kit includes a counter stand, white Volcora printer and Stripe M2 reader; your existing iPad must be compatible. Ask us to review your equipment.
What is included in the $595 hardware kit?
An 11-inch iPad (A16), 128GB, a counter stand, white Volcora receipt printer and Stripe M2 reader. This is a one-time equipment cost with no monthly device payments. Your quote confirms exact models, connectivity, optional accessories, tax and shipping. Restaurant software plans and payment processing are separate.
Can I add a customer display or kitchen screen later?
Yes. Plan the additional devices and software together. The Complete counter kit includes two iPads for $895; the guest display requires Ultra or Enterprise. Ultra supports one customer display or one KDS screen, not both. Dedicated KDS devices are $300 for iPad or $600 for Android and require Ultra or Enterprise. Build your equipment estimate.
Who can help with a hardware question?
Email support@taplypos.com or use the Restaurant contact form. Include the device model, connection type and what you see on the screen. We’ll confirm setup needs, warranty terms and any installation costs in your quote.
Can I use the same equipment for Restaurant and Retail?
Restaurant and Retail have different workflows and requirements. Check each device, connection and product plan with Taply before moving equipment between them. A device shown here does not establish compatibility with Taply Retail.
