A few more details about the day.

Does Retail have a visual workflow builder?

The Retail feature catalog includes a visual workflow builder. Talk through your desired steps, conditions and staff permissions with the Taply team to confirm availability and the setup for your store. Existing register settings cover customer prompts and defined checkout approval policies.

What does Daily Workflows cover?

Daily Workflows covers register settings, checkout policies, stock counts and business-day review, along with the workflow builder, custom fields, contextual prompts, suggested add-ons, digital documents and specialty printing in the feature catalog. Review availability and configuration for your store with the team.

Can the register ask for a customer before payment?

Retail register settings include a Require a customer for every sale option. Review whether it suits your store’s loyalty and receipt routine before enabling it. Staff should follow your privacy and consent practices when collecting customer information.

Can I set up manager approval for discounts?

Retail checkout policies include manager-PIN settings for discounts, refunds and voids, with additional approval requirements available for individual adjustment reasons. Review staff roles and the configured policy during onboarding.

Can a shared register return to staff sign-in after a sale?

Yes. The register has a Sign out after each sale setting that returns to the PIN screen after the sale and its receipt flow are finished. Confirm the setting with the team that shares the register.

Which parts of the receipt routine can be configured?

Register settings include an option to close the receipt screen after printing. Receipt output still depends on your configured printer or delivery setup. Review the exact receipt behavior and equipment in your walkthrough.

How do stock counts fit into the working day?

Start the appropriate full, cycle or spot count, search its item list, enter observed quantities and save progress. Expected quantities remain hidden during the blind count, with differences reviewed in the reconciliation step.

What can I review at the end of the day?

The end-of-day view brings together available sales, tender and refund information with cash-drawer activity, expected and counted cash, differences and product or staff summaries. The information shown depends on your store setup and recorded activity.

Can Taply build a custom connection for my process?

Share the systems involved, the information that needs to move and the person responsible for each step. Taply can review the requirements and available connection options. Custom work, access and timing need separate confirmation.
