A FEW WORKING DETAILS

Questions about food trucks?

Will card payments work without internet at an event?

Offline payment acceptance is not confirmed. Review mobile internet coverage, the chosen payment reader and the provider’s requirements before trading. A local order screen or printed ticket is not proof that a payment has succeeded.

Can I use the iPad I already own?

Ask Taply to check the model and operating-system version first. The published Bring your iPad hardware kit supplies a counter stand, white Volcora receipt printer and Stripe M2 reader; the existing iPad must be compatible. Software and processing are separate.

Does the counter kit include a battery or mobile mounting system?

Battery systems, vehicle mounts, connectivity and outdoor equipment requirements are not included in the published kit description. Bring those needs to the team and have them confirmed in the itemized quote.

How much does the Restaurant hardware cost?

The POS essentials kit is $595 once and includes an 11-inch iPad (A16), 128GB, a counter stand, a white Volcora receipt printer and a Stripe M2 reader. The Bring your iPad kit is $295 with a compatible existing iPad. Software, processing, tax and shipping are separate; exact equipment and connections are confirmed in your quote.

How do I plan a switch from my current system?

Bring your menu, device models, current reports and a representative order to the demo. Agree the data scope, equipment, account setup and training plan with Taply before selecting a launch date. Keep access to records you must retain and rehearse the complete service routine before switching.

Where can owners sign in or get help?

Use the Restaurant owner-login link for the published product portal. For help, use the Restaurant help center or email support@taplypos.com. Include your product and a description of the issue without sending passwords or payment-card details.
