FROM THE COUNTER TO THE TABLE

Get a feel for the flow.

See the register, the floor, the kitchen and the customer display in one short tour. These are actual Taply screens with separate sample scenarios, so you can explore the interface before bringing your own service requirements to a demo.

  • Menu choices beside the current check
  • Table status and kitchen preparation details
  • An itemized view for your guest

Taply Floor and a dedicated KDS require Ultra or Enterprise. For bar tabs, split checks and card preauthorization, review your exact workflow with the team.

This is a silent visual tour. The descriptions below explain the screens in each chapter.

0:00 The order workspace

The Taply Restaurant register shows menu categories, food and drink items, and the current check side by side. This example uses a landscape iPad with a fictional restaurant and sample order.

0:12 Review the check

A closer view of the same check shows Table 4, two cheeseburgers, fries and two lemonades. The sample subtotal is 40 dollars, the sample tax is 3 dollars and 30 cents, and the total is 43 dollars and 30 cents. Hold Order and Send to Kitchen are visible below the check.

0:24 See the tables

A separate Taply Floor phone capture shows a grid of tables. Tables have visible states and sample check amounts. This is a different illustrative service example, not a live continuation of the previous order. Taply Floor requires Ultra or Enterprise.

0:36 In the kitchen

The kitchen example contains a sample Table 4 ticket, food items and a preparation note. A Food Ready action appears on the ticket. This screen uses synthetic test data. A dedicated KDS requires Ultra or Enterprise; iPad KDS is available inside the Taply Restaurant POS app.

0:48 The guest view

The customer display shows the same sample burger, fries and lemonade check from the register, totaling 43 dollars and 30 cents. Guests can review the items and see the Confirm Items action. Try the separate website order, tip and card-tap demo next. That demo does not submit an order or take a payment.
